Ένα πρόσφατο άρθρο στην αγγλική έκδοση του site theTOC.gr (η εταιρεία έχει πρόεδρο την Έλλη Στάη και Διευθύνοντα Σύμβουλο τον Λάμπη Ταγματάρχη) κατά τα φαινόμενα μοιάζει να είναι σε μεγάλο μέρος του προϊόν μετάφρασης μέσω της δωρεάν υπηρεσίας Google Translate.

Συγκεκριμένα, ένα άρθρο που δημοσιεύτηκε στις 9 Μαϊου με τίτλο “Alexis Tsipras for President“) είχε αρκετές ομοιότητες με την μετάφραση που δίνει η υπηρεσία της Google αν κανείς βάλει το κείμενο από ανάλογο άρθρο για το ίδιο θέμα από τις 8 Μαϊου από το left.gr με τίτλο “Διεθνείς διανοούμενοι στο πλευρό του Αλέξη Τσίπρα, για την προεδρία της Κομισιόν” (αντίγραφο εδώ) που είναι στα ελληνικά. Παρακάτω το απόσπασμα με το κείμενο που ήταν σχεδόν εξ’ολοκλήρου ίδιο (επισημαίνω με bold τα συγκεκριμένα σημεία) με το αποτέλεσμα από το Google Translate (το κείμενο είναι από αντίγραφο της σελίδας από 9 Μαϊου δηλαδή πριν τροποποιηθεί την επόμενη μέρα):

The nomination of Alexis Tsipras, president of SYRIZA , i.e. the party of the Greek radical left for the presidency of the European Commission has powerful symbolism refers to the text and noted :

“Greece has become the guinea pig in huge neo-liberal laboratory, which has led to a humanitarian crisis unquestioned . The nomination Tsipras behalf of the European Left Party offers a glimmer of hope that neo-liberalism and authoritarianism and can be stopped and reversed . ”
